Normally I would never read a self help book as I used to think they would never ever work; however The Micarcle Morning by Hal Elrod changed that. For a start I don't like reading much and I hardly ever finish a book. This book I read in only 2 days, which is a real achievement for me.
Basically you spend around an hour everyday first thing developing yourself into the best possible version of yourself. It is hinged on 6 principles which Hal describes using the Acronym- Life S.A.V.E.R.S. S- silence, A- affirmations, V - visualisation, E - Exercise, R- reading & S- scribing. I've been practising the miracle morning everyday for over a week and I love how focused and determined it is making me. It gives you an excellent start to the day.
Hal also suggests scoring every area of your life out of 10. Then setting goals to help improve your score in all areas.
Hopefully I'll manage to stick to this for 2017. Only time will tell but I'm really enjoying the silent meditation, exercise and reading every morning.
